In the heart of the forest, the orphaned Siegfried grows up fearless and untamed, unaware of his heroic destiny. Guided by Mime, a scheming Nibelung, he reforges the shattered sword Nothung and slays the dragon Fafner, claiming the cursed ring and the magic Tarnhelm. But Siegfried’s journey is not just one of conquest; it is also a journey of self-discovery. Along the way, he confronts the truth of his lineage and awakens Brünnhilde, the slumbering Valkyrie, with a kiss. Their love kindles hope, even as the shadow of the ring’s curse looms ever larger. The saga marches toward its fateful climax.
